Mat Classes
Mondays - 8 classes (Feb 6th - March 26th) - $104 + tax
Tuesdays - 8 classes (Feb 7th - March 27th) - $104 + tax
Mondays
4:30-5:25pm - Intro to Pilates
Learn the basics of a Pilates mat workout. This class will teach you how to move with your breath, and how to engage your core to move safely through the Essential Level exercises. 6 max.
12:05-12:50pm - Power Matwork
For those who understand the basics of Pilates, and want a faster pace with more flow between exercises. This is a fun energy boosting lunch hour class.
Tuesdays
9:30-10:25am - Post Natal
This class will help you re-strengthn the pelvic floor and abdominals. The focus of the class will be on core strength and restoring proper posture for moms who have muscle imbalances due to carrying babies. Please ensure Doctor/PT approval prior to starting this class. Meant for those up to 1 year postpartum.
7:15-8:10pm - Level 1 Pilates and Props
For those with Pilates experience looking to add a challenge to the workout. This mat class uses flex bands, foam rollers, toning balls and Fitness Circles to enhance a Level 1 mat class. 6 max.
Class Descriptions
Introductory / Orientation Sessions - If you are new to Pilates, and not too sure what class to attend, it is recommended that you begin with a private introductory session to complete a brief postural analysis, explain the basic principles and begin teaching some fundamental movements. From this session you gain insight into what particular needs your body has and how to address them, modify or focus your attention during your workout. It also gives you a chance to ask questions and understand how the Pilates Method can help you personally. $45 + tax. Single session + complimentary mat class (1 client ).
Private Sessions - Using the information gained from the introductory session, a program is then tailored to your personal needs, goals and abilities. Ideal for persons wishing to gain in - depth instruction in the Pilates Method, and especially for those with special considerations such as surgeries, diagnosed with back pain, or other chronic issues. $50/session + tax.
Semi-Private Sessions - involve two or three people looking for personalized instruction. This allows you a chance to work in a small, more private setting than a scheduled group class and still receiving increased hands - on attention by the instructor. This is great for a group who needs scheduling flexibility as the sessions are booked on an appointment basis. Participants must arrange for a partner to attend with them. $20/person/session + tax.
Friendly Reminders...
Privates and semi-privates: Cancellations require 24hr notice to avoid session charges. In the scenario where one of the two ppl cannot attend for semi - privates sessions will be reduced to a 1/2 hr session unless there is someone to fill in.
Mat classes: Shane is more than happy to assist you in making up missed classes where space is available. Classes must be completed within the session period. Classes are non-transfereable between sessions and non-refundable. This policy can work when the instructor is notified of your absence.
